Sacred Grounds PREP CHEF -PART TIME (18 hrs) - Up TO £10 ph

This role is ideal for anyone with some kitchen/cooking experience and basic knife skills. Confidence using kitchen appliances is required as you’ll be prepping food and ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly. You’ll be given direction from our team of wonderful chefs in a beautiful and supportive environment, though developing an independent and intuitive approach is key. We support each other through daily tasks and your role will include helping to make sure the chef team have everything they need for the day, keeping the kitchen clean and organised and ensuring food safety standards are met. Although not essential, a knowledge for preparing vegan food is of benefit.

In our open kitchen we have an emphasis on calm focus to ensure that we maintain the friendly welcoming atmosphere, for both our team and our visitors. Our team of like-minded chefs and baristas help to nurture an environment that is welcoming to everyone and has a focus on equality as well as well-being.

You will be required to work weekends, as well as days during the week. Your contracted hours will be worked within two shifts, and the opportunity for over time will be possible. You will also be required to work during the holiday seasons.

Lunch is provided whilst on shift, as well as discount when visiting with family and friends, and you will also receive a share of gratuity with your monthly wages.
